Scales each hitter's defense (per-position + defensive-sub value); offense is never touched. Raise it if strong bats keep beating better fielders for a slot.

Per-position multipliers stacked on the slider (blank = ×1). C defaults to ×2: the model scores catchers on framing alone with a compressed spread, so at neutral weights bat-first butchers win the C slot.

Min starting-C frame

Max OVR per RP caps each arm slotted in the pen — starters are exempt. SPs can relieve; RPs can't start, so an RP above the ceiling is unusable. Min lineup Σ OVR is the total across all 14 hitters. Min starting-C frame bars low-framing catchers from STARTING at C — they can still be rostered as backups or play elsewhere.

Locks & bans

Lock forces a card onto the roster; ban keeps it off. The solver re-optimizes everything else around your calls.
